This is Dreamcatcher.🙃
Dreamcatcher is a South Korean girl group which consist of 7 members with beautiful faces, bodies and voices. They debuted on January 12, 2017, under Happy Face Entertainment. Before that, they were a 5 membered group called MINX but later re-debuted with a different name and with 2 additional members.
Every time I listen to a Dreamcatcher song, I cry because of how amazing the music they make is. I am literally in tears while writing this post, thinking about how whoever is going to read this post is going to have a life changing experience once they listen to a Dreamcatcher song.
The first Dreamcatcher song I heard was ‘What’. It was love at first listen. When I discovered that Koreans also make metal-rock music, I was so happy. I have always been a metal-rock fan, I listened to American metal before I got lured into the dark but awesome pit of Korean Music. Finding Dreamcatcher is the greatest thing that has ever happened in my life. They made my life a whole lot better.
First, let me talk about the dancing.
Think about how dancing to rock is almost impossible but they somehow make it work. They have amazing dance moves that go well with the rhythm from the electric guitar and everything else.
They create such great choreography. I love how every single one of them can move so perfectly. Guys, I swear… 😭😭You can never get tired of watching them dance.
If you want a smile on your face, I suggest you check out the video of the dance cover to a great American hit, ‘Havana’. The choreography was created by one of the members, SuA, and covered by SuA and Dami.

Korean Pop music videos are always a wow. Theirs are beyond amazing, they have short horrific stories behind them, which are quite adorable yet thrilling as you can see from the images above. 7 beauties with angelic voices
And now their vocals. I have always believed they had pretty awesome vocalists, but I did not know that ALL the members had great vocals, until I watched the ‘그리고 아무도 없었다’ and ‘Lullaby’ Special Clips. ALL OF THEM sang beautifully and it was so amazing I screamed. Dami (the group’s main rapper) sang higher notes than she usually does which was revolutionary, to me. (But not as revolutionary as GaHyeon killing the rap verse in ‘PIRI.’). Who wouldn’t love to listen to that all day?
—— By the way, Dami and GaHyeon are both my biases because this group is my life and I can have as many biases as I want. So as a Dami fan, I suggest you check out the rap solo she had when they were covering Big Bang’s Bang Bang Bang at Jeju Hallyu Festival 2018.
Moving on, their song covers. I have watched a lot of videos of them covering different songs, both American and Korean. I will leave links below to some of the most amazing covers I have watched. Watching them cover other people’s songs made me realise how talented they are, I fall in love with them after every single video.

All the members are such a vibe. You can not not love them. I realised this after watching the ‘YOU AND I’ Sero Live video. They looked so cute and funny. I fell in love with them all over again. You have to check this video out. And again, the link is at the end of this post.

Now lastly, the most important part…their lyrics. Most of their lyrics are about nightmares. They are about what one goes through and escaping nightmares. There is a certain way I feel, that I can not explain, when I read the lyrics from their songs. Let me give you a sample.

I would go on and show more lyrics but I believe these lyrics are enough to get your attention.
——The “I’ve had a gun for a while” line is my most favourite. The best part? She was rapping and she said this one in English.❤😭
